Full Job Description

We are seeking an accomplished Senior Accountant to play a pivotal role in shaping the financial future of our organization. As the department lead, you will oversee the accuracy and integrity of our financial records, delivering precise and timely Monthly Management Reports and Annual Financial Statements that reflect the company’s achievements. You will also drive compliance by ensuring the on-time submission of all statutory returns and filings. Beyond operational excellence, you will provide strategic financial insights that guide critical decisions, foster sustainable growth, and unlock new opportunities for innovation.

This role is at the heart of our organization's success, working closely with executive leadership to align financial strategies with long-term goals. Responsibilities :

Ensure accuracy of financial information
Manage the year-end process and compile accurate Annual Financial Statements
Maintain control over the company’s budget
Manage Cash Flow and Cash Runway requirements
Review internal processes, implement internal controls and Statutory Compliance
Complete Tax and VAT returns and ensure all Statutory Compliance
Manage company sales, creditors / service providers payment processes
Professional query handling
Manage performance and development of the finance department

Requirements :

Skills, Knowledge and Competencies in the following:

Excellent analytical, problem-solving and strategic thinking skills.
Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
Ability to work independently and
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in integrated accounting systems and tools, including MS Office
Strategic Planning & implementation.
Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and regulations.
Strategic Management
Financial compliance management
Risk management
People management

Qualifications :

3 years Bachelor’s degree: Finance, Accounting, or related field.

Experience:

5 years experience in management of the financial activities of a middle size company and or 3 years’ experience functioning at an Executive level.

Travel:

You will be required to travel from time to time.
A valid driver’s license is a prerequisite for this position.

Compensation Package:

Market-related and will be determined based on meeting the outlined requirements and qualifications.
