1. General Ledger & Finance
Handling the full accounting function up to trial balance and financial statements. Daily reconciliation of main bank accounts and credit card statements. Calculation, reconciliation, and timely e-Filing submission of VAT, PAYE, and UIF. Preparation of monthly management accounts and gross profit reports.
2. Wholesale Department
Credit management and debtors: Opening commercial clients, credit checks, and debt collection. Creditors management: Reconciliation of bulk purchases against delivery notes.
3. Retail Department
Daily reconciliation of cash registers, card transactions, and cash deposits. Investigation and reporting of any cash variances.
4. Inventory, Slaughter & Yield Control
Updating meat prices according to market and abattoir costs. Yield control and calculation of cutting losses. Monitoring of stock shrinkage and waste. Planning and management of physical stock counts.
5. Salaries & Human Resources
SARS e-Filing and MS Excel.
