WHAT WE NEED YOU TO DO:
1. HR Business Support: -
Serve as the dedicated HR Generalist for your allocated portfolio (Operations or Support Teams).
Responsibilities include:
· Build strong working relationships with managers.
· Provide first-line HR advice and support.
· Assist managers with employee-related queries.
· Support workforce planning activities.
· Coordinate employee lifecycle activities.
· Monitor probation periods.
· Coordinate employee changes.
· Facilitate employee transfers.
· Conduct exit interviews.
· Promote employee engagement initiatives.
· Escalate complex matters to the HR Specialist.
2. Recruitment & Onboarding: -
Manage end-to-end recruitment for allocated business areas.
Responsibilities include:
· Recruitment planning and pipelining.
· Advertising vacancies.
· Candidate sourcing.
· Screening applications.
· Conducting telephonic interviews.
· Coordinating interviews.
· Preparing interview documentation.
· Conducting reference checks.
· Preparing employment offers.
· Preparing contracts.
· Coordinating onboarding.
· Facilitating new employee inductions.
· Monitoring probation.
· Producing recruitment reports.
· Building talent pipelines.
3. Learning & Development: -
Coordinate learning and development activities across the allocated portfolio.
Responsibilities include:
· Identify training needs.
· Coordinate training schedules.
· Manage training logistics.
· Maintain training records.
· Coordinate mandatory training.
· Support WSP and ATR activities.
· Coordinate learnerships.
· Manage training evaluations.
· Update skills matrices.
· Track employee development plans.
4. Performance Management & Compensation:-
Support the performance management cycle.
Responsibilities include:
· Coordinate KPI development.
· Track performance reviews.
· Prepare performance documentation.
· Coordinate probation reviews.
· Monitor performance improvement plans.
· Prepare salary adjustment documentation.
· Coordinate bonus administration.
· Support benefits administration.
· Prepare payroll change documentation.
· Maintain compensation records.
5. HR Compliance & Governance:-
Support organisational compliance requirements.
Responsibilities include:
· Coordinate KPI development.
· Track performance reviews.
· Prepare performance documentation.
· Coordinate probation reviews.
· Monitor performance improvement plans.
· Prepare salary adjustment documentation.
· Coordinate bonus administration.
· Support benefits administration.
· Prepare payroll change documentation.
· Maintain compensation records.
6. HR Operations:-
Provide efficient HR operational support.
Responsibilities include:
· Coordinate KPI development.
· Track performance reviews.
· Prepare performance documentation.
· Coordinate probation reviews.
· Monitor performance improvement plans.
· Prepare salary adjustment documentation.
· Coordinate bonus administration.
· Support benefits administration.
· Prepare payroll change documentation.
· Maintain compensation records.
7. Employee Relations Support :-
Provide first-line employee relations support.
Responsibilities include:
· Provide advice on HR policies.
· Support disciplinary processes.
· Coordinate investigations.
· Assist with grievances.
· Attend disciplinary meetings.
· Prepare HR documentation.
· Escalate complex matters to the HR Specialist.
· Support CCMA preparation where required.
8. Continuous Improvement:-
Responsibilities include:
· Review HR processes.
· Recommend improvements.
· Assist with HR projects.
· Support HR system enhancements.
· Promote best practice.

QUALIFICATIONS
Essential:
· Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management or related qualification.
Preferred:
· Registration with SABPP.
· HRIS experience.
· Labour Relations exposure.

Minimum 3–5 years' experience in a generalist HR environment including:

Experience supporting multiple departments within a medium-sized organisation will be advantageous.
Pay: R20 000,00 - R25 000,00 per month
