vivo South Africa is seeking an innovative and commercially minded Creative Manager to drive our localised brand creative strategy and social media ecosystem. This role is responsible for translating product strategy into impactful creative campaigns, leading high-quality content production, and collaborating with internal teams and telecom partners to strengthen brand presence and drive commercial success.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in creative strategy, digital content production, social media management, and emerging AI-powered creative technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and localise integrated marketing and creative assets aligned with product strategy and local market insights.
- Formulate commercial content strategies that support brand, product, and sales objectives.
- Produce high-frequency creative content, including video scripting, editing, and rapid content iteration using Adobe Creative Suite and generative AI tools.
- Develop and maintain the brand's social media content calendar, ensuring alignment with commercial campaigns and business priorities.
- Partner with Key Account Managers to develop conversion-driven creative assets and co-marketing campaigns for telecom partners and retail channels.
- Collaborate with the PR Manager to amplify offline events through digital content, coordinate KOL content, and maintain a consistent brand voice across all platforms.
- Analyse product positioning and consumer insights to create compelling, commercially effective creative campaigns.
- Continuously optimise creative output to maximise engagement, reach, and campaign performance.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Graphic Design, Marketing, Digital Media, Communications, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years' experience in Creative Management, Brand Marketing, Digital Marketing, Content Production, or a similar role.
- Valid driver's licence.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, and After Effects.
- Demonstrated experience utilising generative AI tools for creative content production, including AI video generation.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, content strategy, and digital marketing best practices.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and project management skills.
- Strong commercial mindset with the ability to translate product strategies into compelling consumer campaigns.
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Advantageous Experience
- Experience within consumer electronics, mobile devices, telecommunications, retail, FMCG, or other fast-moving consumer industries.
- Experience producing high-volume digital content across multiple social media platforms.
- Knowledge of basic 3D modelling or motion graphics.
- Experience working with KOLs, influencer marketing, and integrated PR campaigns.
- Experience collaborating with telecom operators or retail channel partners.
