Full Job Description

Prime Rugs, is looking for a motivated and organised Sales Representative and Admin Assistant to join our team at our head office located in Sandton. We specialise in the retail, and distribution of rugs & flooring products. The successful candidate will support our sales activities while assisting with daily office administration.

Key Responsibilities

Sales of rugs, wood and laminate flooring products.
Assist and communicate with trade clients and customers.
Follow up on customer enquiries and sales leads.
Prepare, process and follow up on customer orders.
Support trade sales and help develop new trade-client relationships.
Perform general administrative and office-support duties.
Assist with stock records and stock-related administration.
Maintain accurate customer, order and sales information as well as records.
Prepare spreadsheets, reports and other necessary business documents.
Provide professional customer service by telephone, email and in person.
Assist management with planning, organising and monitoring administrative activities.

Minimum Requirements

A relevant university degree (NQF Level 7) or diploma.
At least two years of relevant experience in the flooring or home decor and styling industry.
At least two years of relevant experience in sales, administration, marketing, customer service or management.
Working experience and knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
Good email-writing skills and professional business etiquette.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Good organizational, time-management and problem-solving abilities.
A professional and customer-focused approach.
The ability to take responsibility and work accurately with limited supervision.
Integrity, maturity and sound judgement.

Pay: R8 000,00 - R10 000,00 per month
