Full Job Description

About the Role

Kleinsky’s is opening a new store in July and we are looking for a skilled, reliable, and hardworking Baker to join the team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about baking, comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen environment, and able to maintain high standards of quality and consistency.

You will be responsible for producing a range of baked goods including bagels, babka, and rugelach, as well as assisting with daily kitchen prep and maintaining bakery equipment and workspaces.

Key Responsibilities

Baking according to daily volume requirements
Operating and maintaining bakery equipment safely and correctly
Following recipes, portioning, and production schedules accurately
Maintaining cleanliness and food safety standards at all times
Assisting with stock rotation and ingredient management
Working efficiently during busy service and production periods

Requirements

Previous baking or kitchen production experience preferred
Strong attention to detail and consistency
Able to work early morning shifts
Reliable transport to Atlantic Seaboard area
Able to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required
Physically capable of standing for long periods and lifting bakery stock/equipment

We’re looking for someone with a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and genuine passion for quality baked goods. The ideal candidate thrives in a hands-on environment and takes pride in producing consistently great products.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: R40,00 per hour
