About the Role
Kleinsky’s is opening a new store in July and we are looking for a skilled, reliable, and hardworking Baker to join the team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about baking, comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen environment, and able to maintain high standards of quality and consistency.
You will be responsible for producing a range of baked goods including bagels, babka, and rugelach, as well as assisting with daily kitchen prep and maintaining bakery equipment and workspaces.
Key Responsibilities
- Baking according to daily volume requirements
- Operating and maintaining bakery equipment safely and correctly
- Following recipes, portioning, and production schedules accurately
- Maintaining cleanliness and food safety standards at all times
- Assisting with stock rotation and ingredient management
- Working efficiently during busy service and production periods
Requirements
- Previous baking or kitchen production experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and consistency
- Able to work early morning shifts
- Reliable transport to Atlantic Seaboard area
- Able to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required
- Physically capable of standing for long periods and lifting bakery stock/equipment
