Job aim:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Trade Executive to join our team. As a Trade Executive focused on in-store execution in convenience stores, you will be responsible for ensuring optimal product placement, stock availability, and executing customer and consumer-focused promotions. Your primary goal will be to maximize sales and drive sell-out by effectively restocking shelves, implementing attractive merchandising displays, and deploying gondolas in assigned stores.
Responsibilities:
- Visit assigned convenience stores regularly to ensure accurate shelf restocking, proper merchandising, and effective deployment of gondolas.
- Monitor inventory levels in stores, replenish stock as needed, and liaise with the store staff to ensure optimal stock availability and minimize out-of-stock situations.
- Implement attractive product displays and ensure compliance with brand guidelines and planograms. Optimize shelf space utilization and arrangement to enhance visibility and drive customer engagement.
- Execute customer and consumer-focused promotions to drive sell-out, including setting up promotional displays, arranging point-of-sale materials, and providing product information to customers.
- Gather market intelligence, including competitor activities, pricing strategies, and consumer preferences. Share insights and recommendations with the sales and marketing teams to enhance TradeDepot's competitive position.
- Stay updated on TradeDepot products, features, benefits, and competitive advantages. Conduct training sessions with store staff to increase product knowledge and drive sales.
- Monitor product sales performance, competitor activities, and market trends. Provide timely and accurate reports on sales activities, challenges, and opportunities.
- Establish and maintain strong working relationships with store managers and staff to ensure products receive priority attention, resolve any issues promptly, and secure favorable shelf placements.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree in a relevant field is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Sales Representative or in a similar role, preferably in the FMCG industry or convenience store sector.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain relationships with store staff and customers.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to ensure effective store visit scheduling and execution of tasks.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to set targets and deadlines.
- Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed recommendations.
- Proficiency in using technology tools such as smartphones, tablets, and sales applications for reporting and communication.
Pay: R4 000,00 - R6 000,00 per month
