The School of Education is globally recognised for its world-class programs in pre-service teacher education, adult education, workplace learning, and higher education. The School seeks to employ a dedicated individual who will coordinate and lecture on modules in Educational Leadership, Management, and Policy (ELMP) at postgraduate levels, supervise and assess undergraduate teaching practice, and supervise postgraduate students. This position requires an academic willing to engage in curriculum development and delivery, and who will play a leading role in teaching and research in the ELMP sub-discipline.

The incumbent will report to the Head of Discipline.

Minimum requirements

PhD degree (NQF level 10) in Educational Leadership Management and Policy or relevant discipline.
Three (3) years working experience in either Teaching, Lecturing, research, or Industry (in the relevant field or discipline).
Evidence of current and sustained research publication record in quality scientific journals (5 - 10), appropriate for the level.
A track record of successful supervision of postgraduate students at the Master's and/or PhD level appropriate for the level.
Demonstrated ability to apply for research grants, either as the Principal Investigator or as a member of a team.
