Eduvos is looking to hire the services of an Independent Contractor, Graphic Design Lecturer, for Eduvos Online on a part-time basis.
Type of appointment:
Independent Contractor
- This is a part-time contractual agreement, which will require a flexible work schedule (generally during normal business hours) and will be remunerated on a hourly basis as per operational requirements.
Purpose:
- To lecture Humanities-related modules, in the faculty on a part-time (contractual) basis.
- To assist in the administration and departmental affairs and activities as required by the academic department.
Minimum qualifications required:
- A Master's degree (NQF 9) in Graphic Design/ Visual Communication Design/ Design Studies/ or a related discipline is generally preferred, particularly for:
- Honours-level teaching
- Research supervision
- Module leadership responsibilities
Experience:
- Relevant lecturing experience
- Necessary knowledge of higher education practices and processes
- Relevant research experience
Modules to be lectured:
- Research Design
- Research Project (Specifically honours research supervision)
