Full Job Description

Job Advert Summary

To ensure smooth coordination and administration of the employee relations section.

Minimum Requirements

Grade 12 (National Senior Certificate)
HR Certificate
1-2 years experience in administration or labour relations, preferably in an HR environment
Computer literacy (Ms office suite)
Valid driver's licence with ability to pass RWK 53
Desired Education: National Diploma/ Degree in Business Administration, Labour Relations or HRM or an equivalent NQF Levels 6 will be an added advantage

Primary Duties

Be the first point of contact for all departmental ER queries
Assist HR specialist and Head of the HR with all ER related queries that may arise from various departments
Ensure that all ER cases are timelessly captured on the ER record
Administration of compliance process
Assist HR projects as and when required
Administrative and coordination flair
Assist in coordination of ER training programs
Assist in coordination of disciplinary hearings, grievances hearings and JPS meetings
Management of Employee Relations documents
Provide centralised workflow and administrative support.

Knowledge

Good understanding of employee relations
Good understanding of regulations that impacts on employee relations (LRA, EEA, BCEA)
Sound knowledge of Rand Waters’ business
Analytical reasoning and conceptualising
