Full Job Description

About The Role

SA Packaging Machinery is looking for a motivated and results-driven SEO Specialist to take full ownership of the SEO performance of our website.

This is a hands-on, execution-focused role where you’ll own:

1. Technical SEO performance

2. Keyword strategy and content optimization

3. Site health and crawlability

4. Organic traffic and ranking growth

If you're ambitious, disciplined, enjoy solving complex SEO challenges, and want the opportunity to make a measurable impact, we'd love to hear from you.

What You Will Do

1. Build and maintain an internal linking structure that distributes authority across the site effectively

2. Conduct keyword research and build content strategies at different levels of experience

3. Perform regular technical SEO audits covering site speed, crawlability, indexation, and Core Web Vitals

4. Monitor and report on organic performance

5. Write and optimise blog posts, landing pages, and product pages for both search intent and readability

6. Manage on-page optimisation across the site including meta titles, meta descriptions, heading structure, and internal linking

7. Identify and fix technical issues that affect rankings including broken links, duplicate content, redirect chains, and page speed problems

8. Stay current with Google algorithm updates and assess their impact on SA Packaging content and rankings

What We're Looking For

1. Minimum of 3 years’ experience in digital marketing

2. Familiarity with SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, or Screaming Frog

3. Experience optimising content on WordPress

4. Strong writing skills with the ability to produce content that reads naturally while meeting SEO requirements

5. Understanding of E-E-A-T principles and how they apply to machinery content

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in B2B or industrial sectors.
Knowledge of marketing automation and CRM tools.
Graphic design or video editing skills are a plus.
