Housekeeping Supervisor (Part-Time)

Location: Randburg, Johannesburg
Employment Type: Part-Time (2–3 visits per week)
Availability: Immediate Start

About the Role

Preemus Supplies is looking for a reliable, hands-on Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee our casual housekeeping team at one of our hotel clients.

This position is ideal for someone with a strong housekeeping background who enjoys leading people, maintaining high standards, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct site visits 2–3 times per week to monitor staff performance.
Ensure all casual staff report for duty on time.
Verify that staff are wearing the correct uniform, safety boots, and name badges.
Ensure attendance registers are completed and signed correctly.
Inspect assigned work areas to ensure hotel housekeeping standards are maintained.
Address staff concerns and report any absenteeism, misconduct, or performance issues.
Provide guidance and support to staff where necessary.
Maintain professional communication with hotel management and the Preemus Supplies management team.

Minimum Requirements

Minimum of 2 years' housekeeping experience in a hotel, lodge, or similar hospitality environment.
Previous supervisory or team leader experience will be an advantage.
Good understanding of hotel housekeeping standards and procedures.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Reliable, organised, and able to work independently.
Professional appearance and excellent attention to detail.
Must be available to start immediately.
Must have reliable transport to travel to the hotel.
