Eskort Foods is seeking a creative and enthusiastic Junior Graphic Designer to join our dynamic Marketing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in graphic design principles and will be responsible for creating visual content that aligns with our brand’s identity. In addition to traditional graphic design duties, this role will also involve supporting various other marketing activities.

JOB ROLE REQUIREMENTS
QUALIFICATIONS:
- A National Diploma/Degree in Graphic Art/Design or any related creative field.
- Formal training/certification in the use of Adobe’s Creative suite of programs or similar.
EXPERIENCE:
- 1 - 3 Years Working Experience
SOFTWARE AND TECHNICAL SKILLS:
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, etc.)
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
- Experience using Canva
- Basic video editing skills
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Graphic Design:
- Create visually appealing designs for digital and print media, including advertisements, branding and signage, social media graphics, banners, posters, brochures, packaging, and other promotional materials.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of branding guidelines to ensure consistency across all platforms.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop creative concepts and design solutions that effectively communicate the brand message.
- Ensure all design work aligns with the brand’s identity and meets the project’s objectives.
2. Marketing Support:
- Assist in the planning and execution of marketing campaigns, including product launches, promotions, and events.
- Assist in the coordination and execution of brand activations and events, including setup, design, and on-site support.
- Support the creation and distribution of newsletters, email campaigns, and other marketing communications.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas to enhance the brand’s presence in the market.
- Liaise with various suppliers to ensure the timely delivery of quality creative outputs and production requirements.
3. Ad-Hoc Tasks:
- Provide design and administrative support for various marketing projects as needed.
- Stay updated with industry trends, new design tools, and marketing strategies to ensure the brand remains innovative and competitive.
- Assist with day-to-day ad hoc design requests from various internal stakeholders, ensuring timely and high-quality creative support.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
Time: Lead time per project, estimated v. actual time taken, and time spent on rework:
- Deliver all Project on time and in full as outlined by brief & Project plan
Quality: UX metrics such as usability, helpfulness, satisfaction:
- Bringing the brief and concept to life based on the marketing teams needs and
- Preparing mock-ups and presenting to marketing team before deciding on a final design/concept.
- Editing proofs to marketing teams’ specifications and getting signoff/approval before finalising artwork.
- Working and collaborating with design agency, copywriters, photographers and other designers.
- Adapting and rolling out approved concepts to various media, above and below the line.
- Adhering to brand identity and
- Communicating with internal and external stakeholders about progress of projects and any issues that may arise.
- Working with external departments to extend concepts and visuals to other internal and external marketing-related material.
- Making sure artwork is correct and supplied in the right format/sizes/colour codes before being sent to press and production facilities.
- Work on multiple briefs at the same time.
