About the Role
As a Technical Training Co-ordinator, you will play a key role in enhancing employee knowledge, skills, and performance by creating and co-ordinating technical training initiatives. Working closely with Technical Leads, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), operational teams, and management, you will identify learning needs, develop engaging training materials, and support both instructor-led and virtual learning experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Training Design & Development
- Conduct training needs analyses to identify skill gaps and learning requirements.
- Develop and maintain technical training curricula, manuals, guides, assessments, and learning materials.
- Create instructor-led, virtual, and self-paced learning content.
- Ensure all training content remains relevant, accurate, and up to date.
Training Delivery
- Co-ordinate technical training sessions for employees.
- Facilitate training sessions where applicable.
- Provide coaching, guidance, and post-training support to learners.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Partner with SMEs, department managers, and operational teams to develop effective training solutions.
- Support onboarding and continuous learning initiatives.
- Align training programs with business objectives and operational requirements.
- Contribute to process improvement and change management initiatives through training support.
Compliance & Documentation
- Maintain accurate training records and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with organisational, regulatory, and quality standards.
- Manage Learning Management System (LMS) records and reporting where applicable.
- Monitor and uphold quality assurance standards in training delivery and content development.
Requirements
Experience
- 2–3 years' experience in technical training co-ordination, learning and development, or a similar role.
Qualifications
- Relevant training, learning, or instructional design qualification.
- Certifications such as CompTIA CTT+, Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT), ATD, or CPTD will be advantageous.
Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of technical systems, applications, technologies, or products.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications.
- Experience with e-learning development tools.
- Knowledge of virtual training platforms, particularly Microsoft Teams.
