Clinic Manager
Clinic Manager will establish, launch and manage the operational infrastructure of a new, premium, private inpatient rehabilitation facility. This non-caseload, administrative role transitions from an initial phase of project management, regulatory licensing and policy creation into driving the day-to-day financial, commercial and operational success of the facility once open.

We are a specialised residential rehabilitation centre for adolescents, providing structured, evidence-informed therapeutic programmes for young people experiencing substance use and behavioural challenges. Our mission is to promote recovery, resilience, and healthy personal development in a supportive multidisciplinary environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage facility operations, including maintenance, security and supply chain
- Oversee administrative staff
- Ensure compliance with South African health regulations, licensing and safety standards Occupational Health and Safety (OHS)
- Coordinate with the Programme Director on strategic planning and resource allocation
- Handle non-clinical complaints and resolve operational bottlenecks
- Oversee the maintenance of non-clinical records and facility documentation
- Conducting periodic audits to ensure the clinic and its staff’s compliance with relevant laws and regulations

Location: Menlo Park, Tshwane, Gauteng
Target Audience: Adolescents aged 12–17 with pure substance use disorders (Non-Dual Diagnosis)
Start date: 01 August 2026
Required qualifications and experience
Minimum Education
Diploma in National Diploma in Health Services Administration or Office Management
Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, Business Management, Commerce, or a related field
Experience Required
Minimum of 3 years of operational management experience within a private healthcare facility or private addiction rehabilitation clinic in South Africa.
Proven track record in healthcare start-ups, facility commissioning, or practice management setup.
Clear experience working with or navigating medical aid authorisations and private cash-paying structures.
Core competencies and attributes
Commercial Acumen: Strong understanding of budgeting, cost control and financial tracking for a start-up business.
Project Management: Ability to manage timelines, coordinate multiple vendors and hit deadlines leading up to the grand opening.
Ethical Leadership: Absolute commitment to youth safeguarding, data privacy (POPIA compliance) and professional boundaries.
Resilience and Problem Solving: Adaptable mindset required to navigate the unpredictable landscape of a launching enterprise.
