Full Job Description

Indalo Hotels & Leisure is looking for a detail-oriented, organised, and experienced Bookkeeper to join our team.

If you have strong accounting skills, enjoy working with numbers, and can manage financial records accurately in a fast-paced hospitality environment, we would love to hear from you.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
Process invoices, payments, receipts, and other financial transactions.
Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations.
Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Monitor outstanding payments and follow up on outstanding accounts.
Prepare and maintain financial reports and reconciliations.
Assist with month-end and year-end financial processes.
Capture and verify financial information accurately.
Ensure supporting documentation is properly filed and maintained.
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis where required.
Work closely with the Finance Manager and other departments to resolve financial queries.
Ensure compliance with company financial policies and procedures.
Perform any other reasonable finance-related duties as required.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Grade 12 / Matric.
Diploma or relevant qualification in Accounting, Finance, Bookkeeping, or a related field.
At least 2–3 years' experience in a bookkeeping or similar finance role.
Experience in the hospitality industry will be an advantage.
Good knowledge of accounting principles and financial processes.
Strong Excel skills.
Experience with accounting or hospitality financial systems will be advantageous.
Good attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong organisational and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Good communication and problem-solving skills.
