Role Overview
Numeral Group is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Creditors Clerk to manage the company's accounts payable function. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring suppliers are paid accurately and on time, maintaining accurate creditor records, reconciling supplier accounts, and supporting the finance team in maintaining strong financial controls across the Group.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full creditors (accounts payable) function across multiple group companies.
- Capture, verify, and process supplier invoices accurately and timeously.
- Reconcile supplier statements and resolve invoice or payment discrepancies.
- Prepare supplier payment schedules in accordance with payment terms.
- Process EFT payments and ensure accurate allocation of payments.
- Maintain accurate supplier records and supporting documentation.
- Liaise with suppliers and internal departments to resolve account queries.
- Ensure all invoices are correctly authorised and coded before processing.
- Assist with month-end creditors reconciliations and reporting.
- Support the finance team with general administrative and accounting duties as required.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and financial controls.
Requirements
- 2–5 years' experience in a creditors/accounts payable role.
- Relevant finance or accounting qualification (advantageous).
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (Xero experience is advantageous).
- Strong attention to detail and excellent numerical accuracy.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines.
- High level of integrity and confidentiality when handling financial information.

Pay: From R25 000,00 per month
