Full Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities

Capture and process patient request forms accurately on Skypath Laboratory’s systems, ensuring precision and efficiency.
Support specimen processing workflows with attention to detail, contributing to smooth laboratory operations.
Ensure all patient data and clinical documentation are handled with confidentiality and accuracy.
Maintain and monitor administrative logs, including temperature and decontamination records, in compliance with laboratory standards.
Manage stock levels and administrative supplies to support uninterrupted branch operations.
Handle patient billing processes, including cash collection and reconciliations, with accountability and accuracy.
Provide frontline support to patients and clients, ensuring a professional and welcoming experience.
Collaborate with laboratory and clinical teams to ensure seamless patient journeys and efficient branch performance.
Consistently meet performance targets and deadlines to uphold operational excellence.

Qualifications

Grade 12 certificate (Matric) essential.
Relevant administrative or healthcare-related qualification advantageous.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

Experience

1–4 years of data capturing or administrative experience, preferably within a medical or healthcare environment.
Experience with patient data, clinical documentation, or laboratory administration highly beneficial.

Relevant Job Knowledge

Healthcare administration processes and patient data management.
Laboratory documentation and compliance protocols.
Billing and reconciliation procedures.
Confidentiality standards and patient rights.
