AutotechSA is looking for a strong Sales Representative to join our automotive product distribution team.
We are not looking for an order taker.
We are looking for a real salesperson who can find opportunities, build relationships, follow up properly, close deals, and grow a customer base.
AutotechSA supplies plug-and-play automotive products to fitment centres, 4x4 shops, tyre groups, dealerships, resellers, and automotive businesses across South Africa. Our product ranges include AutoSense TPMS, AutoVision wireless camera systems, and other automotive technology solutions.
This role is best suited to someone who is confident in their ability to sell and wants to build long-term earnings through commission.

What you will be doing
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Generating new business through outbound calls, WhatsApp, email, and client visits
- Opening new reseller, trade, dealership, tyre, fitment, and 4x4 accounts
- Building and managing your own sales pipeline
- Following up on quotes and leads daily
- Selling automotive products to fitment centres, tyre shops, 4x4 shops, dealerships, and resellers
- Growing existing customer accounts
- Building long-term customer relationships
- Maintaining accurate call sheets, follow-up notes, and pipeline reports
- Learning the product range and presenting it professionally
- Meeting weekly and monthly sales targets
- Representing AutotechSA professionally at all times
The person we are looking for
We are looking for someone who:
- Has strong sales ability
- Is confident with cold calling
- Can handle rejection and keep going
- Understands that follow-up is where sales are won
- Can build relationships with business owners, buyers, and managers
- Takes ownership of their customer base
- Wants to earn based on performance
- Is disciplined, punctual, and reliable
- Does not need to be pushed every day
- Can work with targets and accountability
This role is not for you if:

Requirements
- Previous sales experience required
- Strong telephone sales ability
- Good communication skills
- Basic computer skills
- Valid driver’s licence
- Own transport to get to work
- Automotive, tyre, 4x4, dealership, parts, fitment centre, or trade sales experience will be an advantage
Remuneration
This is a performance-driven sales role.
Basic salary: R8,000 per month
Commission: Strong commission structure with long-term earning potential
