Debtors Clerk – Rent-to-Own Vehicle Finance
Location: Kempton Park, Gauteng
Position: Permanent, Full-Time

Wheelwish is looking for an experienced Debtors Clerk to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing customer accounts, collections, payment arrangements, reconciliations, and arrears within a Rent-to-Own vehicle finance environment.
Requirements Matric (Grade 12) Minimum 2 years' experience in Debtors, Credit Control, or Collections Basic understanding of Rent-to-Own vehicle finance agreements Strong collections and negotiation skills Experience handling payment arrangements and arrears management Computer literate with good Microsoft Excel skills Excellent communication and administrative skills Ability to work under pressure and meet collection targets

Duties & Responsibilities Manage and maintain customer accounts Follow up on outstanding payments and overdue accounts Negotiate and monitor payment arrangements Allocate and reconcile customer payments Resolve account queries promptly and professionally Prepare debtor ageing reports Maintain accurate collection notes and records Escalate delinquent accounts for tracing, repossession, or legal action where required Assist with month-end reporting and account reconciliations
REQUIREMENTS Multi-skilled and able to multitask effectively. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Strong administrative and organizational skills. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other office applications.
