The Barrick Africa & Middle East Team are seeking to recruit a Logistics Administrator to join the Regional Team. The purpose of the role is to keep the logistics administration running cleanly and reliably turning every shipment into an accurate ERP/SAP record, holding documentation complete and SARS-compliant, and giving the Coordinators, Controller and Manager the dependable data and paperwork they need to keep goods moving without hold-ups.

Responsibilities:
Give day-to-day administrative backing to the SA hub logistics team, the Logistics Controller and the Logistics Manager.
Enter and keep shipment records up to date within the ERP/SAP system.
Cross-check data for accuracy and completeness before any transaction is processed.
Make sure all import and export paperwork meets South African Revenue Service (SARS) customs requirements.
Draw up and handle routine logistics paperwork - delivery notes, packing lists and transport instructions
3 and keep it properly filed.
Hold logistics records shipping documents, customs declarations, proof-of-delivery and correspondence in an orderly, audit-ready state.
Help the Logistics Coordinators with data entry, tracking updates and chasing outstanding documentation in the Control Tower.
Pull together and vet the supporting documents needed for customs broker submissions.
Lend support on invoice matching, goods-receipt queries and reconciliation with Finance.
Qualification Requirements:
Experience and Skills Requirements:
2+ years in a logistics, shipping or administrative support role.
Working knowledge of SARS customs and import/export documentation requirements.
ERP data-capture experience (SAP MM / logistics modules advantageous).
Strong attention to detail, accuracy and organisational skills.
