AAH Investment Properties (Pty) Ltd is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Security Supervisor to supervise security operations at one of our construction sites.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising security officers, controlling access to the site, protecting company assets, monitoring site risks, ensuring proper record keeping, and making sure all security duties are carried out professionally and in line with company procedures.

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:

Relevant experience as a Security Supervisor in the security industry.
Experience in construction site security will be an added advantage.
Valid South African Identity Document.
Valid driver’s license will be advantageous.
PSIRA Grade A or Grade B registration.
Valid Competency Certificate
Matric / Grade 12 certificate.
Security-related qualifications or training will be advantageous.
Good knowledge of access control, guarding, patrols, incident reporting and site security procedures.
Good leadership and communication skills.
Ability to supervise security officers and manage shift duties.
Must be reliable, disciplined and professional.Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Supervising security officers deployed at the construction site.
Ensuring proper access and exit control for employees, contractors, visitors, suppliers and vehicles.
Protecting construction materials, tools, equipment, plant, machinery and company property.
Monitoring and preventing theft, vandalism, trespassing and unauthorised access.
Ensuring regular patrols are conducted around the site.
Reporting security risks, incidents and suspicious activities to management.
Maintaining proper occurrence book entries, visitor registers, vehicle registers and incident reports.
Conducting shift handovers and ensuring officers are properly posted.
Ensuring security officers are neat, punctual, alert and professional while on duty.
Liaising with site management and contractors regarding security matters.
Assisting with emergency response and site safety procedures.
Ensuring compliance with PSIRA requirements, company policies and site rules.
