Creative QA

Clockwork is a global creative agency working with brands like Microsoft Xbox and publishers such as Konami, delivering socially led campaigns that reach gaming communities around the world.

We’re looking for a Creative QA who gets it - a gamer first. Someone who lives in the ecosystem, understands player mindset, internet culture, fandoms, and what makes gaming communities tick.

As a Creative QA, you’ll be the final line of defense before creative assets go live, ensuring everything from campaign copy to key art, and marketing materials meets the highest quality standards. You’ll work closely with designers, copywriters, and data teams in a fast moving, launch driven environment where accuracy, consistency, and accessibility are critical.

This role is ideal for someone who understands the expectations of games audiences, and the importance of delivering flawless creative across multiple platforms, regions, and formats.

Key Responsibilities

Proofread and QA copy and visual designs for accuracy, clarity, grammar, tone, and consistency across all creative assets.
Ensure all creative outputs align with the original brief, campaign objectives, and target player/audience expectations.
Validate adherence to accessibility standards, including captions/SRTs, alt text, colour contrast ratios, and inclusive design principles.
Check consistency across asset suites, ensuring terminology, naming conventions, visuals, ratings, and messaging are aligned globally.
Review localised content for non-English markets by cross referencing approved translation sheets and market guidelines.
Confirm assets meet channel specific guidelines and industry best practices across social.
Flag risks, inconsistencies, or potential compliance issues early, providing clear, actionable feedback to creative and production teams.
Collaborate closely with copy, design, data, and project management teams to maintain smooth creative workflows and hit delivery milestones.

Requirements

Degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Media Studies, or a related field (preferred).
3–5 years’ experience in a Creative QA role or similar position focused on copy, design, or digital content quality.
Strong understanding of digital creative production, ideally within gaming, entertainment, or tech‑driven brands.
Exceptional attention to detail with an analytical mindset and a passion for quality.
Comfortable working in fast paced, deadline driven environments with multiple concurrent projects.
Highly organised, adaptable, and confident managing changing priorities.
Familiarity with accessibility standards, localisation workflows, and multi market publishing is a strong advantage.
