Full Job Description

ADMIN CONTROLLER

Join Our Finance & Administration Team

We are seeking a reliable, organised, and detail-oriented Admin Controller to support our finance and administrative operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day administrative functions, assisting with debtors and creditors processes, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring efficient office operations within a fast-paced business environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Finance & Accounting Support

Processing customer and supplier transactions accurately
Assisting with debtor and creditor reconciliations
Managing customer accounts, following up on outstanding balances, and maintaining accurate debtor records
Capturing invoices, payments, receipts, and accounting entries
Processing cashbook transactions and assisting with journal entries
Maintaining accurate financial records and supporting documentation
Assisting with month-end administration and financial reporting requirements

Administrative Responsibilities

Maintaining organised filing systems and company records
Managing administrative documentation and correspondence
Capturing and updating information on company systems
Assisting with general office administration and operational support
Ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal processes and procedures

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Basic understanding of accounting principles:
Debits & Credits
Income, Assets & Liabilities
Computer literate with experience in:
SAGE Accounting
Microsoft Excel
Microsoft Outlook
Experience with SAGE Evolution will be advantageous
Previous experience in administration, debtors, creditors, or accounts payable/accounts receivable functions preferred

Excellent organisational and administration skills
Good numerical ability and problem-solving skills
Strong communication skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
Ability to work independently and within a team
Deadline-driven with the ability to work under pressure
Reliable, professional, and self-motivated approach

EMPLOYMENT DETAILS

Position: Admin Controller
Salary: From R8,000 per month
Work Location: On-site / In person
