Assume the role of Marketing Specialist, consolidating knowledge gained through experience together with an on-going and self-motivated approach towards continuous learning in the broader field of product and corporate marketing.

Actively participate and contribute to the development and implementation of the annual Marketing Activity Plan. Coordinate input in the form of Yokogawa product & solution related content, editorial, success stories, advertisements, advertorials and promotional materials aligned with the Product Specialists and BU SMEs annual Product Marketing Plans.

Executing the Marketing Activity Plan, achieving key performance indicators as outlined in the OKR system.

Establish and sustain strong working relationships with key members of the Regional Marketing Group (Yokogawa Middle East & Africa, RHQ).

Assume responsibility as the window person for the exchange of marketing information between YMA RHQ and YMA-SA/AAR/AO sales teams (New Product/Sales Release, Success Stories, Marketing/Promotional Materials, Events etc.).

Providing regular progress reports on planned and completed initiatives to the Management team and RHQ Marketing Group.

Support the HR Manager, Managing Director and Corporate Division with corporate campaigns and other employee focused promotions and events as required.

Observe compliance with company branding and marketing protocols and ensure product presentations to customers (i.e. Power Point presentations, demo equipment, and marketing collateral) comply with such requirements.

Plan, coordinate and actively participate in marketing events including Product Launches, Exhibitions, Conferences and Roadshows. Coordinate the preparation/presentation of subject matter materials and product demos at such events as required.

Under the direction of the RHQ Marketing Group, contribute and support updating of the Yokogawa regional websites as required.

Coordinate input, formatting and procurement of editorial content and advertisements in industry magazines (digital and print media) and acquire pre-approval as required by Yokogawa Marketing policies & procedures.

Coordinate selection, procurement and distribution of promotional material (i.e. branded clothing, stationary, calendars, etc.) as approved from time to time.

Coordinate input, formatting and procurement of business cards for all personnel in region of responsibility.

Coordinate the selection, procurement and general management of external service providers contracted for the execution of marketing objectives and ensure compliance with Yokogawa vendor selection policies and due diligence processes.

Maintain control and distribution of latest available revisions of all Yokogawa marketing materials, in digital and printed formats as required, including Sales & Industry Bulletins, GS Sheets, Technical Information Bulletins, White Papers, Success Stories etc.

Maintain control and coordinate updates of the comprehensive portfolio of the latest PowerPoint presentation materials for the Yokogawa Products & Solutions, as designated on the company server and Yokogawa Marketing portals.

Maintain record of expenditure and performance against budget.

Align with Yokogawa business systems (YODA/CRM) to ensure regular updating of customer contact information, such that promotional events, publications and customer surveys can be routed effectively.

Acquaint oneself with customer policies and guidelines with respect to gifting and entertainment activities.

Fully understand and align oneself with Yokogawa’s Goals, Mission and Objectives.

Familiarise oneself with and display a solid understanding of Yokogawa’s full range of Products, Solutions and Services.

Professionalism and projection of a proper image of the company and the Marketing Specialist role at all times.

Be fully informed about the functions, capabilities and work processes of all business units within the Yokogawa affiliate.

Contribute to the well-being of the company by maintaining positive working relations with colleagues and members of support structures.

Adhere to the Yokogawa Authorisation Rule.

Protect the organisation’s values by keeping information confidential.
