Personal Assistant / Administrator / Social Media Coordinator

Location: Sandton, Johannesburg
Salary: R8,000 – R12,000 per month (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate, following the recruitment process
Work Structure: Hybrid (office-based and remote working days)

Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic, energetic, mature, and highly organised individual to join our team in a multifaceted support role. The successful candidate will provide administrative, personal assistant, secretarial, and social media coordination support while contributing to the effective operation of our church ministry.

This role is ideal for an all-rounder who enjoys variety, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is proactive in managing multiple responsibilities with professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive administrative, secretarial, and personal assistant support.
Manage diaries, meetings, appointments, travel arrangements, and correspondence.
Coordinate day-to-day operational and administrative activities.
Plan, create, schedule, and manage content across multiple social media platforms.
Use AI-powered tools to support content creation, document drafting, research, meeting summaries, and administrative workflows while maintaining accuracy, confidentiality, and professional standards.
Maintain organised records, databases, documents, and filing systems.
Communicate professionally with clients, stakeholders, partners, and team members.
Assist with the planning and coordination of meetings, events, conferences, and ministry programmes.
Perform general office administration and other ad hoc duties as required.
Support the organisation's mission by carrying out all responsibilities with professionalism, integrity, and respect for its Christian values.

Minimum Requirements

Minimum of 3–4 years' experience in an administrative, secretarial, or personal assistant role.
Matric Certificate
Secretarial Diploma or Graduate in Business related undergraduate degree
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with confidence using digital tools and software.
Experience managing social media platforms and coordinating digital content.
Proficiency in using AI productivity tools (such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, or similar) to improve efficiency, research, content creation, and administrative tasks.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a strong command of English.
Strong organisational, planning, and time management skills.
Ability to work independently, prioritise competing tasks, and meet deadlines.
Previous experience working in a faith-based organisation or church will be advantageous.
A valid driver's licence will be advantageous.

Pay: R8 000,00 - R12 000,00 per month
