Minimum Requirements:
- National Diploma in Communications, Marketing or Business Management or relevant equivalent NQF Level 6 qualification
- 1 - 3 years' experience in social media communication environment
- Journalism experience will be advantageous
- A valid driver's license
- Excellent knowledge of the English language
Core Responsibilities:
- Implement CoE social media strategy by generating and maintaining presence of CoE brand on social media sites and develop brand awareness
- Serve as an on camera representing of City by creating and presenting digital content for social media platforms
- Plan, manage and implement competitions and interactivity via social media
- Bring an in-depth knowledge of the social media landscape and emerging platforms
- Collaborate on social media strategy to increase audience whilst maintaining quality
- Ensure that work adheres to policies and strategies of the Department in relation to social media
- Adhere to specified standards, policies and SOPs to prevent and reduce wastage on financial resources and escalate associated risk
- Contribute to a culture, which builds rewarding relationships and enables exceptional customer service and ethical conduct by being a good example
