Full Job Description

Looking for a Senior Accountant, preferably someone who has previous experience in the medical industry and is familiar with NAPPI codes, medical inventory management, and related processes.

Required Experience and Skills

Accounting Responsibilities

Full financial management and accounting functions up to trial balance.
Accounts receivable and accounts payable management.
Bank reconciliations and cash flow management.
VAT calculations
Inventory control and reconciliations.
Financial reporting.
Year-end preparation and liaison with auditors.
Strong knowledge of financial controls and internal processes.

Medical Industry Experience

Previous experience within the medical or healthcare sector.
Knowledge of NAPPI codes and medical products.

Office Management Responsibilities

Management of daily office operations.
Supervision of administrative staff.
Supplier management and procurement processes.
Ensuring all administrative functions operate efficiently and effectively.

Software & Technical Skills

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Experience with ERP and accounting systems.
Strong data analysis and reporting capabilities.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Personal Attributes

Professional and self-motivated.
Strong leadership and people management skills.
Excellent problem-solving ability and initiative.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Qualifications

BCom Accounting degree or a similar financial qualification.

Remuneration

Salary: Market-related and negotiable depending on experience.
Benefits: Medical Aid and Pension Fund contributions.

Working Hours

Monday – Thursday: 08:00 – 16:45
Friday: 08:00 – 15:45

Pay: R30 000,00 - R70 000,00 per hour

Work Location: In person
