Synergy Transformation Solutions is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior HR Administrator / Recruitment Administrator to support our Human Resources and Recruitment functions. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about people, recruitment, and HR administration and is looking to grow their career in a fast-paced, purpose-driven organisation.
The successful candidate will provide administrative support across the HR function, with a strong focus on high-volume recruitment, learnership administration, onboarding, compliance, and maintaining accurate HR records.
What You'll Be Doing
Recruitment & Talent Administration
- Support bulk recruitment campaigns for learnerships and project-based hiring.
- Screen CVs and applications against minimum job requirements.
- Coordinate interviews, assessments, and candidate communication.
- Schedule interviews and send interview invitations.
- Conduct reference, criminal, qualification, and identity verification checks where required.
- Prepare recruitment packs and maintain recruitment trackers.
- Liaise with candidates to obtain onboarding documentation.
- Assist with learner recruitment, placements, and onboarding.
- Provide recruitment updates and reports to the HR team and management.
HR Administration
- Maintain accurate employee and learner records.
- File HR documentation electronically and physically.
- Assist with onboarding and induction administration.
- Draft employment letters and HR correspondence.
- Capture and maintain employee information on HR systems.
- Support payroll administration by ensuring employee information is submitted accurately and on time.
- Assist with leave administration and respond to employee HR queries.
- Ensure compliance with labour legislation, company policies, and HR procedures.
Compliance & Reporting
- Maintain strict confidentiality of employee information.
- Assist with HR audits and compliance documentation.
- Compile weekly and monthly recruitment and HR reports.
- Ensure employee and learner files are complete, accurate, and audit-ready.
What We're Looking ForQualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience
- 1–2 years' experience in HR Administration or Recruitment Coordination.
- Experience in bulk recruitment, learnership recruitment, or recruitment coordination will be advantageous.
- Experience using HR systems and Microsoft Office.
