We are looking for an experienced Marketing & Business Development Coordinator to take ownership of our marketing databases, CRM platforms, digital marketing activities, and business development support initiatives. This role is suited to a proactive professional who understands that successful marketing is built on accurate data, efficient systems, compelling content, and actionable market intelligence.
This is not a junior or entry-level position. We are seeking an individual who can contribute immediately through proven experience in CRM administration, marketing operations, digital communication, and business development support.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING (KEY RESPONSIBILITIES)
CRM Administration & Marketing Operations

Administer and maintain CRM platforms such as HubSpot, Mailchimp, Zoho, or similar systems.

Ensure accurate and structured maintenance of marketing databases, prospect lists, and contact records.

Manage CRM data segmentation, user access, workflows, document control, and system integrity.

Ensure compliance with internal data governance standards and POPIA requirements.

Develop, upload, and maintain marketing information, content, and campaign records within CRM platforms.

Generate reports and provide meaningful insights to support management decision-making and commercial planning.
Business Development Support & Market Intelligence

Maintain accurate opportunity pipelines and business development records.

Track marketing activities that contribute to lead generation and revenue opportunities.

Identify and research new potential clients and market opportunities.

Compile structured market intelligence, including:

Services offered by potential clients.
-
Procurement processes and procurement cycles.
-
Potential opportunity indicators.
-
Coordinate and arrange meetings with prospective clients and key stakeholders.

Support regional business development initiatives across KwaZulu-Natal, Gauteng, and the Western Cape.
Digital Marketing & Content Development

Develop, design, coordinate, and distribute internal and external marketing newsletters.

Create and publish digital marketing content across approved company platforms, including:

LinkedIn and Instagram.

Website content updates.
-
Email marketing campaigns.
-
Marketing collateral and corporate announcements.
-
Maintain and update presentations, capability statements, case studies, and promotional material.

Ensure consistent brand messaging across all marketing communications.
Campaign Management & Events

Assist with the planning, coordination, and execution of marketing campaigns aligned with lead generation and business development objectives.

Monitor campaign performance and provide recommendations to improve effectiveness and return on investment.

Assist with monitoring marketing expenditure and campaign effectiveness where applicable.

Coordinate corporate events, technical seminars, client engagement activities, and promotional initiatives.

Liaise with external marketing agencies, graphic designers, printers, event organisers, and digital service providers.
Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with Marketing, Business Development, Operations, and regional teams to ensure alignment of marketing initiatives and consistent communication of the company’s brand and value proposition.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
Experience

3–5 years’ experience in marketing operations, CRM administration, or business development support.

Hands-on experience managing CRM platforms and marketing databases.

Experience managing digital marketing platforms and social media channels.
-
Experience creating newsletters, marketing content and campaign communications.
-
Experience coordinating corporate events, technical seminars or client engagement activities.
-
Experience with Zoho, HubSpot, Mailchimp, Canva, LinkedIn Campaign Manager or similar marketing tools would be advantageous.
Qualifications

Matric (essential).

Marketing, Business, or Communications qualification (advantageous).

Valid Driver’s licence
