The Assistant Brand Manager supports the development, execution, and evaluation of brand strategies, marketing campaigns, product launches, promotional activities, and consumer engagement initiatives. The role is responsible for assisting in driving brand growth, increasing market share, ensuring brand consistency, and delivering commercial objectives through effective marketing execution and cross-functional collaboration.

QUALIFICATIONS
BCom degree in Marketing, Brand Management, Business Management, Communications, or a related field.
Postgraduate qualification in Marketing or Brand Management will be advantageous.
EXPERIENCE
1–3 years' experience in a marketing, brand management, or assistant brand management role.
Experience within FMCG, retail, consumer goods, or food will be advantageous.
Experience working with marketing agencies and managing integrated campaigns.
Exposure to digital marketing and social media platforms.
KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED
Strong understanding of brand management principles.
Marketing campaign planning and execution.
Budget management and reporting.
Market research and consumer insight analysis
Knowledge of digital marketing, social media, and performance metrics.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREA
1. Brand Strategy & Management
Assist in implementing brand strategies aligned with business objectives.
Support the development and execution of annual brand plans and marketing calendars.
Ensure consistent brand positioning and messaging across all consumer touchpoints.
Monitor brand performance and identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
Conduct regular competitor and market analyses to identify trends and emerging opportunities.
2. Campaign Management
Coordinate and execute ATL, BTL, digital, social media, retail, and experiential marketing campaigns.
Work closely with internal teams and external agencies to develop and implement marketing initiatives.
Assist in the creation of marketing briefs, campaign plans, and promotional activities.
Monitor campaign execution and provide post-campaign performance evaluations and recommendations.
Ensure all marketing materials comply with brand guidelines and approval processes.
3. Budget Management
Assist in managing brand marketing budgets and expenditure.
Process purchase orders, invoices, and agency payments in accordance with company policies.
Track campaign spending and ensuring activities remain within approved budgets.
Maintain accurate records of marketing investments and ROI evaluations.
4. Stakeholder & Agency Management
Build and maintain effective relationships with internal departments, suppliers, agencies, and external partners.
Coordinate communication between sales, marketing, finance, supply chain, and external stakeholders.
Assist in briefing and managing creative, digital, media, PR, and activation agencies.
Support sponsorships, partnerships, and promotional collaborations.
5. Reporting & Administration
Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance reports.
Track key marketing and sales performance indicators.
Maintain marketing asset libraries and campaign documentation.
Provide administrative support to the Brand Manager and broader marketing team.
