In this strategic sales role, you will drive new business growth, strengthen partner relationships, and help customers unlock the full value of Sage X3. You'll be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies that accelerate revenue growth, increase market share, and deliver exceptional customer experiences. Working alongside our sales, marketing, presales, and partner ecosystem, you'll identify opportunities, build a strong pipeline, and guide customers through every stage of their digital transformation journey.

Key Responsibilities
What You'll Do
Drive Revenue Growth
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for Sage X3 and the broader Sage solution portfolio.
Execute regional sales strategies that drive sustainable business growth across Africa & the Middle East.
Identify, qualify, and convert new business opportunities while expanding Sage's market presence.
Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline that consistently supports revenue objectives.
Lead New Customer Acquisition
Develop and execute focused New Customer Acquisition (NCA) strategies in partnership with the Sales Director.
Identify high-value target accounts and create tailored engagement plans.
Build trusted relationships with executive decision-makers and key business stakeholders.
Position Sage X3 as the preferred ERP solution for organisations seeking business transformation.
Partner & Customer Success
Collaborate closely with Sage Business Partners to identify, develop, and successfully close new opportunities.
Support partners through joint sales initiatives, customer engagements, and marketing activities.
Foster long-term customer relationships by promoting the "Customer for Life" strategy.
Regularly engage existing customers to identify growth opportunities and ensure continued value from their Sage investment.
Deliver Outstanding Sales Engagements
Conduct customer discovery sessions to understand business challenges, objectives, and requirements.
Perform comprehensive business needs and cost-benefit analyses to develop compelling value propositions.
Coordinate and deliver impactful solution demonstrations, either personally or in collaboration with the Presales team.
Ensure proposed solutions align with customer business objectives and industry best practices.
Pipeline & Forecast Management
Manage every qualified opportunity within Salesforce with accuracy and discipline.
Maintain detailed opportunity plans, stakeholder maps, close plans, and supporting documentation throughout the sales lifecycle.
Provide accurate sales forecasts with regular weekly, monthly, and quarterly updates.
Monitor pipeline health and proactively drive opportunities towards successful closure.
Market Intelligence & Brand Advocacy
Stay informed on industry trends, market developments, and competitive activity to strengthen Sage's market position.
Share customer insights and market intelligence with internal stakeholders.
Represent Sage professionally at customer meetings, events, and networking opportunities.
Enhance Sage's brand presence by actively engaging on professional platforms such as LinkedIn.
Operational Excellence
Effectively manage your time, priorities, and customer engagements to maximise productivity.
Adhere to Sage sales methodologies, quality standards, and business processes.
Collaborate across Sales, Marketing, Presales, Customer Success, and Partner teams to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
What You'll Bring
Essential Qualifications
Degree, Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Business, Finance, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
A BCom in Marketing or a related commercial qualification will be advantageous.
Experience
Minimum of 5 years' experience in a customer-facing ERP software sales role.
Proven success selling enterprise ERP solutions within Manufacturing, Retail, and Distribution industries.
Demonstrated track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets.
Experience managing complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders and executive decision-makers.
Experience working with channel partners or indirect sales models is highly advantageous.
