Full Job Description

We are looking for a friendly, professional, and organised Receptionist and Junior Administrative Assistant to join our team.

This is a front-of-house position and the successful candidate will often be the first point of contact for clients, visitors, and suppliers. The role therefore requires someone who is well-presented, dresses neatly, and maintains a professional appearance and manner at all times.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing reception duties and providing general administrative support to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the office.

Key responsibilities:

Welcome visitors and assist them in a professional manner.
Answer, screen, and direct incoming telephone calls.
Manage emails, messages, appointments, and meeting-room bookings.
Receive and distribute deliveries, documents, and correspondence.
Perform data capturing, filing, scanning, and photocopying.
Prepare basic documents, reports, and spreadsheets.
Maintain office records and filing systems.
Assist with ordering stationery and monitoring office supplies.
Provide general administrative support to management and other departments.
Keep the reception area neat, organised, and presentable.
Perform additional reasonable administrative duties as required.

Minimum requirements:

Matric/Grade 12.
Basic computer literacy, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Professional telephone etiquette.
Strong organisational and time-management skills.
Attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions.
A friendly, helpful, and professional attitude.
Previous reception or administrative experience will be advantageous

Pay: R9 000,00 - R12 000,00 per month

Work Location: In person
