Full Job Description

Prime Rugs is looking for professional, friendly and organised Receptionist and Front Desk Administrator to join our team in Marlboro, Sandton. The successful candidate will be responsible for welcoming customers and visitors, managing incoming communications and providing general administrative support to the showroom and office team.

Key Responsibilities

Welcome customers, suppliers and other visitors professionally.
Answer, screen and direct incoming telephone calls.
Respond to general email, website and customer enquiries.
Take accurate messages and ensure they reach the correct staff members.
Assist customers with general information and direct sales enquiries appropriately.
Manage the reception and front-desk area.
Schedule appointments and assist with meeting arrangements.
Receive and distribute deliveries, mail and courier packages.
Perform data capturing, filing, scanning and document-management duties.
Maintain customer and administrative records accurately.
Assist with quotations, order paperwork and other basic sales administration where required.
Provide general administrative support to management and other departments.
Maintain appropriate confidentiality when handling company and customer information.

Minimum Requirements

Matric/Grade 12.
Previous experience in reception, customer service, office administration or a similar position is preferred.
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and email.
Clear and professional verbal and written communication skills.
Good telephone etiquette and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
A professional appearance and customer-focused manner.
Accuracy, reliability and attention to detail.
The ability to remain calm and helpful in a busy retail environment.
Integrity, maturity and a responsible approach to work.

Pay: R4 500,00 - R6 000,00 per month

Work Location: In person
