The Process Engineer will be responsible for analysing, modelling, digitising, and continuously improving DBSA’s business processes across the Bank’s value chain. This role supports the digital transformation strategy and initiatives through processes that are efficient, standardised, integrated and aligned to the digitalisation strategy and technology enablement objectives.
1. Business Process Analysis & Modelling
- Provide capacity building support to business units on the methodologies and principles of business process mapping.
- Engage and collaborate with various business units to analyse, document, and redesign end-to-end business processes to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and business performance.
- Facilitate workshops, interviews, and process review sessions with stakeholders.
- Identify process bottlenecks, duplication and operational inefficiencies, and recommend process improvements.
- Facilitate the application of approved process modelling methodologies and standards across the organisation to ensure a standardised approach.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives aligned to operational and digital transformation objectives.
- Maintain a central repository of process guidelines, frameworks, process models and workflows and ensure process documentation remains current, accurate, and aligned to business and system changes.
- Maintain alignment of process models with DBSA’s strategic objectives and transformation roadmap.
- Provide advisory support on process improvement, operational efficiency, and best practices.
- Collaborate with business analysts, solution architects, developers, and project teams on process-related initiatives.
2. Measurement & Performance Monitoring
- Define metrics to measure process efficiency, effectiveness, and maturity.

3. Digitalisation & Automation
- Support the digitalisation and automation of business processes through collaboration with IT and business stakeholders to design and implement digital workflows and automation solutions.

- Participate in system implementation and enhancement projects to ensure process alignment and optimisation.
- Identify opportunities to digitise and automate processes using ERP, CRM, procurement, and treasury systems.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field.

- Proven track record in modelling, digitising, and improving processes across ERP, CRM, procurement, and treasury systems.
- Strong background in performance measurement, KPIs, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with workflow automation, RPA, and low-code platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to engage and influence executives, boards, and cross-functional teams.
