We are looking for a dedicated, enthusiastic, and high-achieving Mathematics Tutor to join our team. At Online Is Cool, we provide high-quality, structured online classroom tutoring to help high school learners build foundational confidence and achieve academic success.

About the Role
Unlike traditional one-on-one private tutoring, Online Is Cool operates with a school-like structure. Our tutors facilitate interactive, collaborative online classroom sessions for Grade 10 to 12 learners, delivering lessons using our standardised, high-quality study materials.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, interactive online math lessons to groups of Grade 10 to 12 learners.
- Facilitate a collaborative classroom environment that encourages student interaction and discussion.
- Conduct online lessons via Zoom using a digital tablet/stylus whiteboard setup.
- Prepare and deliver engaging lessons tailored to individual learner needs.
- Assist learners with homework queries, exam preparation, and identifying gaps in their foundational knowledge.
- Monitor learner progress, administer assessments, and provide constructive feedback to management and parents.
- Maintain a professional, supportive and encouraging learning environment.
Minimum Requirements
- Strong background in Mathematics.
- Currently studying towards or in possession of a qualification in Mathematics, Education, Engineering, Accounting, Actuarial Science, or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to explain mathematical concepts clearly and effectively.
- Reliable, punctual and professional.
- Stable internet connection (a tablet would be beneficial).
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous tutoring or teaching experience.
- Excellent academic results in Mathematics.
- Experience working with learners of different age groups and abilities.
- Ability to tutor Physical Sciences, Accounting or IT will be an added advantage.
