Job Title: Administrator

Job Summary:

The Operational Admin Assistant provides administrative and operational support to the organization, ensuring smooth daily operations. This role requires experience in internal audits, financial services (investments, short-term insurance, and long-term insurance), compliance, and risk audits. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in report generation, audit procedures, and compliance requirements within the financial services industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day administrative tasks including correspondence, filing, scheduling meetings, and managing office supplies.
Prepare, format, and distribute reports, presentations, and documents as needed.
Assist with the preparation of audit schedules, documentation, and other related activities.
Assist in monitoring and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements in investments, short-term insurance, and long-term insurance sectors.
Support the compliance team in performing risk assessments and preparing risk reports.
Ensure that all operational activities comply with company policies and external regulations.
Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including investment portfolios, short-term and long-term insurance summaries.
Support financial teams in managing transactions, reconciliations, and other financial documentation.
Liaise with financial institutions, auditors, and other external stakeholders as needed.
Prepare accurate and timely reports related to audits, compliance, financial performance, and risk management.
Assist in the creation of detailed analysis reports for management and stakeholders.
Ensure data integrity and confidentiality in all financial and operational records.
Coordinate with various departments to ensure timely completion of operational tasks.

Qualifications and Experience Required:

Minimum Matric certificate
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field advantageous.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in an operational or administrative role within the financial services industry.
Strong experience in internal audits, compliance, and risk management, particularly within investments, short-term insurance, and long-term insurance.
Proficiency in financial reporting and analysis.

Skills and Knowledge Required:

Strong organizational and time management skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Familiarity with relevant financial software and audit tools.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: R15 000,00 - R20 000,00 per month
