We are searching for a Business Development & Client Success individual who is positive, ambitious, sales driven and eager to grow, to demonstrate their technical selling skills, bring in new business and manage clients (pre-sale and post-sale). You will be primarily on the road selling products and services, by carrying business conversations with business owners and decision makers.
Requirements:
- 2-5 years of experience representing the company in a positive, confident, and professional manner.
- 2-5 years of external Sales/Marketing/Business Development experience.
- Matric certificate.
- Relevant Sales & Marketing or Transport/Logistics tertiary education.
- Strong understanding of latest technology.
- Assertive, persuasive, and persistent but still a great listener.
- Open and engaging personality.
- Creative mind with ability to solve problems creatively.
- Quick on your feet and ability to adapt your pitch according to prospective client needs.
Responsibilities include:
- Develop and demonstrate technical selling skills and product knowledge.
- Create and conduct effective proposal presentations.
- Manage assigned clients.
- Track, analyse, report on, and optimize client potential.
- When necessary, provide system training to clients.
- Develop an annual business plan.
- Demonstrate the ability to carry on a business conversation with business owners and decision makers.
- Be responsible for identifying and building effective Centres of Influence Network with other professionals to maximize revenue.
- Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity.
- Prepare presentations, proposals, and sales contracts.
