World-Check Data Specialist
WHY IS THIS JOB IMPORTANT?
World-Check helps clients meet regulatory obligations, make informed decisions, and prevent their business from being used to launder the proceeds of financial crime or associated with corrupt practices.
The World-Check Risk Intelligence database delivers accurate and reliable information to help clients make informed decisions. It has hundreds of specialist researchers and analysts across the globe, adhering to the most exacting research guidelines as they collate information from reliable and reputable sources - such as watch lists, government records, and media searches.
World-Check helps simplify customer and third-party screening processes through innovative technology combined with human expertise. The World-Check data is fully structured, aggregated, and de-duplicated. It can be easily absorbed into various workflow screening platforms in-house, cloud-based, or third-party solutions through a delivery method that suits client requirements.
Role definition – Key responsibilities
The overall objective of this role is to ensure optimal integration and implementation of LSEG Risk Intelligence solutions by clients and partners to ensure client retention and optimise revenues.

Provide domain expertise on our suite of product and services

Communicate changes to Regulation and Legislation and how these may affect client / partner screening programs.

Provide ongoing advice regarding the integration of World-Check data and technical configuration.

Consult on client / partner business processes

Provide updates on new data elements introduced and promote data integrations.

Data analysis and data mapping to advise optimal data integration
Required Technical /Professional Skills & Proficiencies
Communication

Communicate ideas, findings and other relevant information.

Drive meetings successfully to influence events.

Good presentation skills
Domain Knowledge
-
Minimum 2 years business support and/or general analysis experience that demonstrates an understanding of AML and/or sanctions compliance.

Understands key client business processes that involve the use of risk intelligence data.

Understanding of risk screening from a program design or end user perspective.
Technical knowledge
Crucial
-
Able to use the Microsoft Office Desktop product range.

Knowledge of XML, CSV data feeds.
-
Good data analysis skills and proficiency in data manipulation

Sophisticated SQL and Excel skills
-
Strong research, analytical and comprehension skills, with ability to analyse large amounts of data

Solid grasp of API’s
-
Ability to drive product implementation issues to timely and successful resolution.
Desirable
-
Experience integrating APIs into CRM systems / other platforms

Knowledge of Visual Studio, Postman or other API applications.

C#, C++ programming languages

Certificate in Anti Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) or other similar qualifications,
