CALL FOR ATTORNEYS AND FORENSIC INVESTIGATORSEXPRESSION OF INTEREST (EOI)
An established client intends to submit a bid for a major forensic investigations and anti-corruption services project and is seeking suitably qualified and experienced Attorneys and Forensic Investigators to form part of a proposed project team.
Successful applicants will be included in the client's tender submission and, should the tender be awarded, may be contracted to participate in the project for a period of 12 months.
This is a project-based opportunity linked to a tender submission and should not be construed as a permanent employment position.
POSITIONS AVAILABLE
1. ATTORNEYS
Applicants must possess:
- An LLB degree or equivalent legal qualification.
- Admission as an Attorney of the High Court of South Africa.
- Current membership and good standing with the Legal Practice Council (LPC).
- Demonstrable experience in forensic investigations, fraud matters, corruption investigations, disciplinary proceedings, commercial crime matters, litigation, regulatory investigations, or related legal work.
- Experience drafting legal opinions, affidavits, charge sheets, witness statements, evidence bundles, and investigation reports.
- Experience representing clients and/or presenting evidence before courts, disciplinary hearings, tribunals, arbitration proceedings, commissions, or similar forums.
2. FORENSIC INVESTIGATORS
Applicants must possess:
- A qualification in Forensic Investigation, Criminology, Law, Accounting, Internal Auditing, Risk Management, Fraud Examination, Policing, or a related field.
- Membership with a recognised professional body where applicable.
- Demonstrable experience conducting forensic investigations, fraud investigations, corruption investigations, misconduct investigations, procurement investigations, financial investigations, or related assignments.
- Experience gathering, analysing, preserving, and presenting evidence.
- Experience preparing forensic investigation reports and supporting disciplinary, civil, criminal, or regulatory processes.
- Experience providing testimony or presenting findings before disciplinary hearings, tribunals, commissions, courts, or similar forums will be advantageous.
REQUIRED DOCUMENTS

SELECTION CRITERIA
Applications will be evaluated based on:
- Relevant qualifications and professional registrations.
- Demonstrated forensic investigation expertise.
- Relevant industry and sector experience.
- Experience providing testimony and presenting evidence.
- Individual and organisational track record.
- Overall suitability for inclusion in a multidisciplinary forensic investigations team.
Preference may be given to candidates with substantial experience in:
- Fraud investigations
- Corruption investigations
- Commercial crime investigations
- Procurement and contract-related investigations
- Disciplinary proceedings
- Litigation support
- Testifying before courts, tribunals, commissions, or disciplinary forums
