Full Job Description

Summary: We are seeking a seasoned Social Media Strategist to lead and elevate our digital presence. This senior-level role is ideal for a proactive and creative professional with a proven track record in developing data-driven social media strategies that drive engagement, brand awareness, and business growth. The ideal candidate will be responsible for shaping our content vision, managing cross-platform campaigns, and leveraging analytics to optimize performance. This role is critical in ensuring our brand remains dynamic, relevant, and connected with target audiences across key social channels.
Responsibilities:

Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies aligned with business objectives.
Lead content planning, creation, and scheduling across multiple platforms (e.g., Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, X).
Monitor, analyze, and report on key performance metrics to inform strategy adjustments.
Collaborate with marketing and creative teams to ensure brand consistency and campaign cohesion.
Stay ahead of industry trends, platform updates, and emerging content formats.
Manage community engagement and respond to audience interactions in a timely, professional manner.
Optimize content performance through A/B testing, audience segmentation, and data insights.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in social media strategy, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead capacity.
Proven track record of growing organic reach, engagement, and audience loyalty.
Expertise in social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social).
Strong analytical skills with experience using platform analytics and reporting tools.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for brand tone and voice.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Rate: $10 AUD per hour.

Pay: R114,00 per hour
