Full Job Description

A successful applicant will play a crucial role in managing accounting functions processes, handling customer enquiries, and ensuring smooth communication between the Sales and Accounts departments. The ideal candidate will have excellent administrative skills and attention to detail. On the job training will be provided

Education:
A post-matric qualification, preferably in bookkeeping.

Experience:
At least 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.

Software Proficiency:
Proficient in SAGE platforms and high Excel proficiency.

Skills:
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines and strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Sales Support:

Promptly respond to customer enquiries and provide accurate information about accounts and billing
Address customer concerns and resolve issues to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
Maintain strong, professional relationships with existing and potential customers through regular communication

Accounts Receivable:

Processing additions to recurring customer invoicing correctly.
Sending invoices and statements to customers
Collaborate with various departments such as projects, finance and operations to fulfill customer orders and resolve order-related issues
Completion of the inflow schedule to assist with collections

Accounts Payable:

Compiling the PO schedules and remittances from supplier statements and invoices
Creating a list of disputed items to be communicated with suppliers
Processing of supplier transactions to the account package once PO has been reviewed and approved

Administrative support:

Provide general administrative support to the sales and accounts teams
Diary and mailbox management
Respond to financial inquiries and provide support to management
Conduct regular review of financial transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance
Assisting during Submission of Taxation reviews and queries from SARS

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: From R20 000,00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

Fourways, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Education:

Diploma (Preferred)

Experience:

Bookkeeping/Accounting: 1 year (Required)
