About the Role:
This role was created to support our expanding client base. You will assist with bookkeeping and administrative tasks, enabling the director to focus on business development.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain bookkeeping tasks, including capturing transactions, reconciliations, and compliance with SARS requirements.
Prepare and manage payroll, VAT, PAYE, and other financial deadlines (monthly, bi-annual, annual).
Handle administrative duties such as filing, client communication, and correspondence with regulatory bodies like SARS, CIPC, DOL, and banks.
Ensure accurate and efficient data management across a variety of financial scenarios.

Qualifications and Experience:

Diploma or degree in bookkeeping, accounting, or a related field.
Experience in public practice accounting is advantageous.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and accounting software.
Understanding of VAT, PAYE, Payroll, and basic bookkeeping principles.

Skills and Attributes:

Strong attention to detail and ability to assimilate information efficiently and accurately.
Driven, self-motivated, and proactive in achieving deliverables.
Excellent communication skills and fluency in English.
Collaborative team player with a focus on client satisfaction.
Prior working experience in an Accounting firm
