Overview:

Support daily factory operations, ensuring product quality, efficiency, and compliance with food safety
standards.

Responsibilities:

Support production processes by sorting/grading/ packing dried fruit according to quality standards
Maintain cleanliness and good housekeeping of work area/station as per schedules.
Assist with receiving, handling, and storing raw materials and finished goods
Identify and report defects, contamination risks, or equipment malfunctions
Adhere strictly to production schedules and output targets
Assist in stock counts and inventory control activities as required
Ensure all info is kept and recorded for traceability.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce waste
Comply with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
Works to achieve production and output targets set to the correct quality standards.
Adherence to all EHS & QFS Standards.

Qualifications:

Matric/ Equivalent Qualification
Previous experience in a food factory environment (advantageous)
Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene practices (e.g., HACCP principles)
Ability to perform manual labour and stand for extended periods
Basic literacy and numeracy skills
Ability to follow instructions and adhere to standard operating procedures
Experience working with production equipment (beneficial but not essential)
Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and overtime when required
Physically fit and able to lift moderate weights
