Junior Flooring ForemanWe are seeking a reliable, motivated Junior Flooring Foreman to join our growing team. In this role, you will bridge the gap between our installation crews and upper management. You will oversee daily on-site operations, coordinate installation teams, and ensure all flooring projects meet our high standards of quality and safety.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced flooring installer looking to step up into a leadership role.Key Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Inspect subfloors, conduct moisture tests, and ensure surfaces meet installation requirements.
- Team Supervision: Assign daily tasks to flooring installers and subcontractors based on project needs.
- Project Execution: Interpret blueprints, measurements, and work orders to guide layouts and patterns.
- Quality Control: Conduct routine walk-throughs to ensure flawless workmanship and warranty compliance.
- Material Management: Monitor on-site inventory and verify correct delivery of materials and adhesives.
- Safety Enforcer: Maintain a hazard-free work zone and ensure compliance with site safety guidelines.
- Progress Reporting: Complete daily site logs and communicate timeline updates to the Senior Foreman.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: 1 to 3 years of hands-on flooring installation or construction experience.
- Technical Skills: Strong mathematical aptitude, spatial awareness, and ability to read blueprints.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to lift heavy materials, bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
- Certifications: Basic health and safety compliance certifications (e.g., OSHA-10) are a plus.
- Licensure: A valid driver’s license is required for travel between local job sites.
