Full Job Description

Are you a compassionate, organized, and committed professional who cares deeply about the well-being of older persons? We are a small, community-focused old age home looking for a Centre Manager to lead our team and ensure the highest quality of care and dignity for our residents.

Key Responsibilities

Overall management of administrative systems, record keeping, and governance processes to aid the effective running of the home
Receipt and control of donations in line with NPO financial guidelines and compliance
Perform nursing duties to ensure residents’ health and medical needs are met
Oversee programs and activities that support residents in leading fulfilling and enriched lives
Ensure prescribed medication is administered correctly, timeously, and in accordance with the Staff Nurse Scope of Practice
Supervise and guide staff to ensure duties are carried out according to internal policies, procedures, and employment contracts

Requirements

Experience in management, preferably within a healthcare, NPO, or elder care setting
Registered or enrolled nursing qualification (advantageous)
Strong leadership and organisational skills
Ability to work with compassion and professionalism in sensitive environments
Understanding of NPO compliance, including financial and governance practices
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
