Full Job Description

Vacancy: Dental Therapist / Dental Assistant

Location: Meryerton, Vereeniging

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Therapist / Dental Assistant to join our practice. The successful candidate will be committed to providing high-quality patient care and delivering excellent oral healthcare services.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor of Dental Therapy (BChD or equivalent relevant qualification)
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a dental practice or similar clinical setting
Current registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA)
Valid HPCSA CPD Compliance Letter
Eligible to practice in South Africa

Key Responsibilities

Provide preventive, restorative, and specialised dental treatments within the HPCSA scope of practice
Educate patients on oral health and preventive care
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with infection control protocols
Assist in delivering a positive, patient-centred experience
Work collaboratively with the dental team to provide quality care
