Rugani Juice is looking for a professional, energetic, and well-organised Receptionist to join our team in Tarlton, Mogale City. This is a permanent, full-time onsite role within a fast-paced food production environment where fresh juice is manufactured daily.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the reception area, handling calls and visitors, providing administrative support, coordinating meetings and deliveries, maintaining office supplies, and ensuring a professional front-office experience for all visitors, clients, suppliers, farmers, and employees.
The ideal candidate must be able to multitask effectively, communicate professionally, remain calm under pressure, and demonstrate strong organisational and customer service skills.
Grade 12 / Matric
1–3 years receptionist or administrative experience
Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail and professionalism
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Professionally welcome and assist all visitors, clients, suppliers, and employees
- Manage incoming telephone calls, emails, and messages efficiently
- Direct calls and enquiries to the relevant departments or personnel
- Maintain a clean, organised, and professional reception area at all times
- Ensure reception equipment, telephones, printers, and devices are fully operational
- Monitor and manage reception stock, fridge orders, and consumables
- Coordinate birthday arrangements and Friday lunch administration
- Inspect bathrooms regularly and report maintenance or consumable requirements
- Assist with reception budget management and reconciliations
- Respond quickly and professionally to issues that arise at reception
- Maintain office calendars, schedules, and appointments
- Coordinate meetings and prepare meeting rooms where required
- Prepare, distribute, and file documents, reports, and administrative materials
- Manage courier services, incoming mail, and deliveries
- Process product purchases via cash and card machine
- Maintain office supplies and report equipment or maintenance issues
- Assist with special projects and ad hoc administrative tasks
- Respond to client and visitor enquiries professionally and timeously
- Provide information regarding company products and services
- Resolve basic issues promptly and escalate where necessary
- Maintain a professional, positive, and approachable attitude at all times
- Ensure all visitors are handled courteously and professionally
- Monitor visitor access and ensure company security procedures are followed
- Coordinate with security personnel regarding visitor and contractor access
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and company policies
- Report suspicious or concerning activities immediately
- Maintain accurate visitor, call, delivery, and juice logs
- Compile daily, weekly, and monthly reports where required
- Maintain proper filing and record-keeping systems
- Prioritise tasks effectively within a fast-paced work environment
