The purpose of this position is to support the Logistics team with administrative duties, including reporting on execution of logistics operations & preparing paperwork.

Report on benchmark vs actual rates

Attend to all returns and rejections

Attend to and escalate customer complaints

Report on rejection lead times

Actively supervise daily delivery schedules and progress thereof

Daily report of any deviations to the Logistics team

Assist Logistics Supervisor with all administrative duties regarding truck and driver readiness and measurement

Arrange and administer driver allowances, as per schedules

Compile all returns for calculation per truck purposes

Compile diesel consumption values for each truck

Collate and capture all fuel and toll invoices
-
Compile incident reports (i.e. accidents)

Internal customer service

General administration

Open sales order (SO) management

Compile and assist with cross-border & export paperwork
Health and Safety
- Participate in safety forums created by SOILL for example safety meetings and safety talks

Follow-up on any activities assigned through safety meetings/committees/representatives/management

Report all safety incidents to the relevant people

Attend safety education and refresher programmes

Comply with safety policies and procedures at SOILL

Distribute safety information as and when required

Always wear protective clothing (where applicable)
Qualification and Experience
-
Grade 12
-
2 years relevant working experience

Computer literacy on MS Office, with specific reference to Excel
